Job Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organized Stock Associate to join the team at Pottery Barn! As a Stock Associate, you’ll be responsible for helping to keep the store running smoothly and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience. You’ll need to be able to think on your feet and handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well with others. We’re looking for someone who is excited to be part of the Pottery Barn team and help us deliver exceptional service to our customers.Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous experience in retail or customer service• Excellent organizational skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

  1. Receive, unpack and stock merchandise according to store guidelines.
  2. Assist customers with selections and provide customer service.
  3. Ensure shelves are orderly and clean.
  4. Maintain accurate inventory records.
  5. Assist in the preparation of merchandise for display.
  6. Monitor sales floor to make sure merchandise is properly displayed and all areas are neat and organized.
  7. Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
  8. Process returns and exchanges.
  9. Assist with store maintenance and cleaning as needed.
  10. Comply with all safety guidelines and procedures.
