  1. Develop and implement PR strategies to promote Pottery Barn's brand and products.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders.
  3. Create compelling and engaging press releases, pitches, and other PR materials.
  4. Coordinate and execute PR events, such as product launches and media tours.
  5. Monitor and analyze media coverage and report on PR campaign effectiveness.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
  7. Respond to media inquiries and manage media requests.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential PR opportunities or challenges.
  9. Assist in crisis communication and reputation management efforts.
  10. Maintain and update media contacts database and press kit materials.
  11. Support social media and influencer outreach efforts.
  12. Assist in developing and managing PR budgets and expenses.
  13. Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop innovative PR ideas.
  14. Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Represent Pottery Barn at industry events and conferences.
  16. Provide support to senior PR team members as needed.
  17. Ensure all PR activities align with Pottery Barn's values and brand messaging.
  18. Continuously evaluate and improve PR strategies and tactics.
  19. Mentor and guide junior PR team members.
  20. Uphold a positive and professional image of Pottery Barn at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Public Relations, Communications, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Pr Or Communications Role, Preferably In The Retail Industry.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Including The Ability To Create Compelling Press Releases And Media Pitches.

  • Strong Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.

  • Knowledge Of Media Relations And Experience Securing Coverage In Top Tier Publications.
