
Merchandise Coordinator
Pottery Barn is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandise Coordinator to join our team. The right candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our merchandise department. If you have an eye for detail, a passion for customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you!To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, and a strong understanding of merchandising and inventory control principles. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
• Ensure the timely and accurate ordering of inventory and merchandise according to customer demand and inventory levels. • Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders as needed to ensure availability of products. • Manage the organization and storage of merchandise to maximize efficiency and ensure product quality. • Maintain accurate records of stock and inventory levels using computer systems. • Analyze sales data and trends to determine ordering needs and inventory levels. • Develop and implement processes and procedures for ordering, inventory control, and merchandising. • Monitor sales and customer feedback to determine changes in product needs and customer preferences. • Prepare and present reports on inventory levels, sales, and customer feedback. • Develop strategies for increasing sales and product visibility. • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction. • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and other stakeholders. • Monitor and maintain store displays to ensure an attractive and organized presentation of items. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
