Job Description

Welcome to the team! We’re looking for a talented Merchandise Coordinator to join us at Pottery Barn. Our ideal teammate will have a combination of experience, qualifications, and enthusiasm that makes them the perfect fit to join our dynamic team. The Merchandise Coordinator will be responsible for managing the entire product life cycle, from initial product selection to the final delivery of merchandise to our retail stores. We’re looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a passion for all things related to product design and merchandising. To be successful in this role, you should have: • A minimum of two years of experience in a product design and/or merchandise coordination role• A strong understanding of the retail product life cycle, from selecting materials to sourcing suppliers• Excellent communication and negotiation skills• The ability to work independently and with a team• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant softwareIf you think you have what it takes to join our team, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire product life cycle, from initial product selection to the final delivery of merchandise to retail stores • Source materials and suppliers in order to meet product design and merchandise coordination requirements • Maintain excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders • Work independently and collaboratively with a team to ensure product design and merchandise coordination objectives are met • Utilize MS Office and other relevant software to effectively manage product data and other related tasks • Monitor product performance and take corrective action when needed • Ensure all merchandise is delivered to retail locations on time and in perfect condition
