Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented professional to join our team as Manager, Inventory Management at Pottery Barn. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our inventory and supply chain processes, ensuring our customers have access to the products they need.The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field, and at least five years of experience in the same or similar role. You should have a strong understanding of inventory management systems and processes, and be able to analyze and interpret data to generate meaningful insights. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  2. Develop and implement effective processes and procedures to manage inventory and optimize supply chain operations.
  3. Analyze and interpret data to identify opportunities to improve inventory and supply chain processes.
  4. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, costs, and product movements.
  5. Generate reports and make recommendations to leadership to improve inventory management.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure all customer orders are filled in a timely manner.
  7. Monitor inventory performance to ensure targets are met.
  8. Develop and manage relationships with vendors to ensure product availability and reliability.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory costs.
