  1. Lead and manage a team of designers to develop innovative and user-friendly digital experiences for Pottery Barn’s customers.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs.
  3. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Pottery Barn’s brand, products, and target audience to ensure all design decisions align with the company’s vision.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in user experience design, and apply them to continuously improve and evolve Pottery Barn’s digital experiences.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of design strategies, processes, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all digital platforms.
  6. Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Create and maintain design documentation, including wireframes, user flows, and prototypes, to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  8. Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to team members to foster their growth and development.
  9. Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  10. Monitor and analyze user feedback and data to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement of digital experiences.
  11. Oversee user testing and usability studies to gather feedback and validate design decisions.
  12. Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines, while ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  13. Act as a strong advocate for user-centered design within the organization, promoting its value and importance in achieving business goals.
  14. Represent Pottery Barn’s brand and values in all design work, maintaining a high level of professionalism and excellence.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In User Experience Design, With At Least 3 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing User-Centered Design Principles And Methodologies In A Retail Or E-Commerce Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Current And Emerging Technology Trends In User Experience Design, As Well As Experience With Agile Development Methodologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Mentor A Team Of Designers, Developers, And Researchers.
