Job Description

Pottery Barn is looking for an experienced and motivated Director of Product Development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the product development process, from concept to launch, ensuring that products meet both internal and external standards. You will need to have strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.We are looking for a professional who is passionate about product development and has a track record of success. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies for product development, ensuring that products meet both internal and external standards.
  2. Lead and manage product development teams, ensuring that all product development processes are optimized for success.
  3. Manage and track product development budgets to ensure that costs are kept within budget and resources are used efficiently.
  4. Monitor market trends, analyze customer feedback, and assess competitor products in order to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders in order to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  6. Develop and implement product launch plans, ensuring that all products are launched on time and within budget.
  7. Develop and implement quality assurance processes in order to ensure that all products meet industry standards.
  8. Generate reports and analytics to monitor the progress of product development and measure the success of launched products.
  9. Provide guidance and direction to product development teams, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the product development process.
