Pottery Barn is looking for an experienced and creative Designer, Costumes to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about creating unique costume designs and have a strong knowledge of fashion trends. We are seeking someone who is highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

1. Research current fashion trends and develop unique costume designs based on those trends.
2. Collaborate with other designers and costumers to create innovative costume designs.
3. Develop sketches, patterns, and clothing samples for review by the Design team.
4. Execute all stages of the design process, including concept development, fabric selection, and garment construction.
5. Ensure all costumes meet safety standards and comply with company policies.
6. Manage all costume projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and ordering of materials.
7. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of projects.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of costume trends and innovations.
9. Manage inventory of materials and supplies to ensure timely completion of projects.
10. Provide creative feedback and problem-solving solutions to improve the overall design process.
