Welcome to Pottery Barn, where design meets functionality and quality. We are currently seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Design Studio Specialist to join our team at our flagship store. As a Design Studio Specialist, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers create their dream home by providing expert design advice and personalized solutions. We are looking for someone with a passion for design and a keen eye for style, who can bring our brand to life through their exceptional design skills.   1. Provide expert design advice and personalized solutions to customers visiting the flagship store, helping them create their dream home.
  2. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Pottery Barn products and design principles, and effectively communicate and educate customers on these.
  3. Utilize excellent listening skills to understand customers' needs and preferences, and recommend appropriate products and design solutions.
  4. Maintain a high level of product knowledge by staying up to date on new arrivals, design trends, and brand updates.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and promote a positive work environment.
  6. Use a consultative approach to build relationships with customers, understanding their individual style and needs to create personalized design solutions.
  7. Assist customers with space planning, color coordination, and furniture selection to create cohesive and functional living spaces.
  8. Keep the Design Studio space organized and visually appealing, ensuring that all products are displayed in an attractive and accessible manner.
  9. Utilize design software and tools to create visual representations of design concepts and communicate them effectively to customers.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure that Pottery Barn remains at the forefront of design and customer experience.
  11. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service, always striving to exceed customer expectations.
  12. Actively participate in training and development programs to continuously improve design skills and product knowledge.
  13. Attend and participate in team meetings, sharing ideas and strategies to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
  14. Represent the Pottery Barn brand in a positive and professional manner at all times, both in-store and in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Interior Design, Graphic Design, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Design Studio Or Similar Role.

  • Proficiency In Design Software Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, And Autocad.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Design Trends And Techniques, With A Keen Eye For Color, Texture, And Composition.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Present Design Concepts To Clients.
