If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Pottery Barn is seeking a talented Design Studio Specialist to join our team and help bring our customers' design visions to life. As a Design Studio Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to work with our customers and guide them through the design process, utilizing your expertise and keen eye for design. If you have a keen understanding of interior design principles, excellent communication skills, and a love for all things home decor, we want to hear from you!

  1. Meet with customers and listen to their design ideas and preferences.
  2. Utilize knowledge of interior design principles to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  3. Create and present design concepts and mood boards to customers.
  4. Collaborate with customers to select furniture, decor, and accessories that fit their style and budget.
  5. Use software and tools to create 2D and 3D renderings of design concepts.
  6. Understand and stay updated on current design trends and styles.
  7. Maintain a strong knowledge of Pottery Barn products and their availability.
  8. Assist customers in placing orders and tracking deliveries.
  9. Work closely with store associates to ensure a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
  10. Provide excellent customer service and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  11. Attend training and development sessions to enhance design skills and knowledge.
  12. Keep the design studio organized and visually appealing for customers.
  13. Meet sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the store.
  14. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  15. Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to create visual displays and promotions for the design studio.
  16. Stay knowledgeable about competitor's products and pricing to better assist customers.
  17. Participate in store events and workshops to promote the design studio and Pottery Barn products.
  18. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales.
  19. Communicate with management about customer feedback, sales, and product requests.
  20. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Design Software Such As Autocad, Sketchup, And Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Interior Design, Graphic Design, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Design-Related Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Home Furnishings Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Design Principles And Trends In The Home Decor Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Work With Clients To Bring Their Design Visions To Life.
