
Associate Store Manager
At Pottery Barn, we are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and organized Associate Store Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask, as well as possess strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and is eager to help us reach our goals. The Associate Store Manager will be expected to ensure the daily operations of the store are running smoothly, maintain a positive and welcoming work environment, and provide support and guidance to the team. The Associate Store Manager will also be responsible for managing inventory levels, increasing sales, and developing and implementing strategies to improve customer service.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field- 3+ years of retail or customer service experience- 2+ years of supervisory experience- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Exceptional customer service and communication skills- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and POS systems
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, including staffing, customer service, inventory, and sales
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and increase sales
- Train, motivate, and coach staff to ensure excellent customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate ordering and stocking of products
- Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase store sales
- Manage cash flow and set store goals and budgets
- Identify potential problem areas and develop creative solutions
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a positive work environment and foster team collaboration
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
