Job Description

Pottery Barn is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Store Manager. This role is critical to our store’s success and requires an individual who can lead, nurture, and motivate a team while providing exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for retail, a drive to succeed, and the ability to provide a positive and collaborative environment.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail management• 3+ years of retail experience with at least 2 years of management experience• Demonstrated success leading and motivating a team• Excellent communication and organizational skills• Proven ability to exceed customer expectations• Strong understanding of retail business operations• Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentIf you have a passion for retail, a drive to succeed, and the ability to lead and inspire a team, then this is the right role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, hire, and train store associates

• Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales and profits

• Monitor and analyze store performance against goals and objectives

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and staff

• Ensure store is run in accordance with all applicable laws and policies

• Lead and motivate staff to exceed customer expectations

• Analyze customer feedback to identify areas of improvement

• Monitor inventory levels and stock shelves as needed

• Create a positive and collaborative environment for customers and staff

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service

• Provide regular feedback to store associates and ensure their performance is up to company standards

• Create store marketing and promotional plans to increase store visibility and sales
