Job Description

As an Associate Inventory Planner for Pottery Barn's Rugs, Windows, and Bath departments, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the strategic and tactical planning of inventory levels to maximize sales and profits. You will be responsible for analyzing sales and inventory trends, forecasting demand, and allocating inventory to meet customer needs. To be successful in this role, you must have an analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor sales and inventory trends to inform forecasting and demand planning.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels for Pottery Barn's Rugs, Windows, and Bath departments.
  3. Analyze forecast accuracy and adjust plans accordingly.
  4. Allocate inventory to meet customer needs.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  6. Monitor and assess inventory performance, suggesting improvements when necessary.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Utilize data to support inventory decisions.
  9. Provide regular reporting and analysis of inventory levels and trends.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and market trends.
