
Associate Designer, Textiles
Pottery Barn is looking for a creative and passionate Associate Designer, Textiles to join our growing team! This exciting role requires a unique individual with a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of the textile industry. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design and a minimum of two years’ experience in textile design, ideally within the home furnishings industry. The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, be a great problem solver, and have strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Develop new textile designs that align with Pottery Barn's aesthetic.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to bring new products to life.
- Stay up to date on textile trends and industry standards.
- Evaluate and select appropriate fabrics, colors, and textures for product designs.
- Create design sketches, sample swatches, and boards to present to team members.
- Maintain organized records of all designs and design processes.
- Monitor production of textile designs to ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other team members to ensure successful product launches.
- Assist with creating presentations, mood boards, and marketing materials.
