Job Description

Pottery Barn is looking for an Associate Buyer, Tabletop to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for driving and developing the tabletop business across all channels. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is passionate about the home furnishings industry, has a keen eye for style, and a deep knowledge of the tabletop market.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product buying or related field, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of success in developing and executing strategies to drive sales. This person must be able to think creatively and strategically while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to drive sales of tabletop products across all channels.
  2. Analyze consumer trends and demand to identify market opportunities.
  3. Monitor and analyze competitive activity and pricing.
  4. Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify product opportunities.
  5. Create and manage product line plans and forecasts.
  6. Monitor and analyze product performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Maintain relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage product lifecycles.
  8. Source new products, vendors, and suppliers.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  10. Manage the buying process, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
