- Source and select high-quality bedding products that align with the Pottery Barn brand and customer preferences.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and maintain profit margins.
- Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize assortment and drive sales.
- Partner with cross-functional teams such as design, merchandising, and marketing to create cohesive and compelling product assortments.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Review and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Attend trade shows and buying trips to stay informed about the latest trends and products in the bedding market.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient buying process.

Knowledge Of Retail Buying: The Ideal Candidate Should Have 2-3 Years Of Experience In Retail Buying, Preferably In The Home Decor Or Bedding Industry. They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Buying Processes, Vendor Relationships, And Product Assortment Planning.
Strong Analytical Skills: An Associate Buyer At Pottery Barn Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret Sales Data And Market Trends To Make Informed Buying Decisions.
