  1. Manage and supervise the sales team to ensure exceptional customer service and sales performance.
  2. Train and mentor sales associates to improve their product knowledge and sales techniques.
  3. Create and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet sales targets.
  4. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.
  7. Assist with merchandising and visual displays to ensure an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
  8. Collaborate with other store managers and departments to ensure a cohesive and seamless customer experience.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to sales team members.
  10. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors to inform sales strategies and improve customer experience.
  12. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment to ensure availability of products.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure all team members are following them as well.
  14. Participate in store events and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales and service processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Retail Management Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Furniture Or Home Decor Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Assistant Store Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Sales Associates And Ensuring That They Are Meeting Sales Goals And Providing Excellent Customer Service. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And Have Experience Managing And Motivating A Team.

  • Customer Service Excellence: Pottery Barn Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service, And The Assistant Store Manager Should Exemplify This Standard.
