In this role, you will work closely with our buyers to curate a unique and diverse product assortment that reflects our brand's aesthetic and meets the needs of our customers. As an Assistant Buyer, you will have the opportunity to assist in all aspects of the buying process, from market research and vendor management to inventory management and sales analysis. Our ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, a passion for home decor, and a keen eye for design.   1. Assist buyers in curating a unique and diverse product assortment that aligns with the brand's aesthetic and meets the needs of customers.
  2. Conduct market research to identify current and emerging trends in the home decor industry.
  3. Manage relationships with vendors, negotiating terms and pricing to ensure the best products are available for our customers.
  4. Work closely with the buying team to develop and execute product strategies.
  5. Assist in the creation of purchase orders and track inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products.
  6. Analyze sales data to make informed decisions about product assortment and pricing.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, and visual merchandising to ensure cohesive execution of product assortment.
  8. Attend trade shows and industry events to stay updated on the latest trends and source new products.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date product information in databases and systems.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to ensure a smooth buying process.
  11. Assist in managing budget and forecasting for the Marketplace department.
  12. Continuously monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  13. Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Marketplace department and the company as a whole.
