Job Description

Assist guests in purchases of zoo inspired merchandise and attraction tickets.

  • Operates computer POS system
  • Does inventory, tagging and organizing merchandise
  • Creates interesting displays for merchandise
  • Sells attraction tickets
  • Responsible for vacuuming, dusting and cleaning windows
  • Verifying accurate cash counts and handling daily sales records and sales receipts
  • Knowledge of running cash registers, changing tapes
  • Records revenues generated and makes up daily deposits

The Zoo is nestled in Potawatomi Park between the St. Joseph River and the Grand Trunk railroad in the east side neighborhood of River Park. Founded in 1921, it is Indiana's second oldest Zoo and features over 500 animals.
