Job Description

Postmates relies heavily on our engineering team to realize this vision. Building a software platform that is reliable, scales, and stays agile under demanding product needs is a serious technical challenge. Postmates is a three-part balancing act connecting customers, merchants, and couriers in real-time. Being first line of response to outages happening in the field. By following technical SOPs, providing software remedies to these outages when possible. Triaging problems to the right teams, when more specialized help is needed. Refining and improving SOPs and automation tools.

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of directly-related experience

  • Knowing at least one high-level programming languages

  • Basic experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS/Google Cloud/Azure

  • Big bonus – basic understanding of networks and TCP and UDP protocols.
