Job Description

We here at Polestar are seeking a Diagnostic Development Engineer who is passionate about problem-solving and eager to join a cutting-edge team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills, an eye for detail, and a creative problem-solving mindset.The Diagnostic Development Engineer will play a critical role in the development of our diagnostics development process. This position requires a combination of both technical and analytical skills, as well as a deep understanding of our products and the industry. The successful candidate will be expected to develop new tools and processes for testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting product issues as well as troubleshoot existing coding.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in a diagnostics development role is preferred. Strong knowledge of software development life cycles, software development processes, software development tools, and software testing methodologies is essential. The ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies is also key. A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving and a passion for finding new solutions are a must.If you possess the qualifications listed above and are excited to be part of a fast-paced, innovative team, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop new tools and processes for testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting product issues.
  2. Troubleshoot existing coding and identify errors and potential solutions.
  3. Perform software testing methodologies and analyze test results.
  4. Utilize software development life cycles and tools to ensure product quality.
  5. Research and evaluate new technologies and their potential applications.
  6. Quickly learn and understand new technologies and applications.
  7. Create innovative problem-solving solutions to improve diagnostics development process.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
  9. Document and maintain detailed records of all development processes.
  10. Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
