In this position, you will be a critical part of the team, working with our CFO and other finance professionals to ensure our financial operations are running smoothly. With your strong accounting background, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company, including developing accounting processes and procedures, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, 3+ years of experience in accounting, and a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You should also have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail. Additionally, you should have the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team, and a strong aptitude for working with numbers. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accounting processes and procedures that are in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and other documents related to the company’s financial operations.
- Monitor accounts and documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain an organized and detailed filing system of financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Create and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
- Provide support to the CFO and other finance professionals as needed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment.
- Monitor trends and developments in the accounting industry.
- Ensure that all financial records are kept up to date and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
