  1. Process and manage financial aid applications and awards for all enrolled students, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial aid policies, procedures, and regulations to provide accurate information and guidance to students and staff.
  3. Communicate and collaborate with students, families, and other departments to assist with financial aid inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
  4. Review and verify student eligibility for financial aid programs, including grants, loans, and scholarships.
  5. Monitor student accounts and ensure timely disbursement of financial aid funds.
  6. Maintain detailed and organized records of all financial aid transactions and student information.
  7. Assist in the preparation and submission of required reports to regulatory agencies and participate in audits as needed.
  8. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or discrepancies in financial aid processing to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  9. Continuously evaluate and improve financial aid processes and procedures to enhance the student experience.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to students by addressing their financial aid needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Assist in the development and delivery of financial aid workshops and information sessions for students and families.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial aid information and support for new student orientations and enrollment events.
  13. Serve as a resource for students and staff regarding financial aid options, eligibility, and resources.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA guidelines.
  15. Adhere to all institutional and departmental policies and guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Financial Aid Or Student Finance In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Financial Aid Regulations, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Students, Parents, And Staff.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Handle Confidential Information With Discretion.
