  1. Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum for the sterile processing technician program.
  2. Facilitate engaging and interactive classroom instruction to students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
  3. Provide hands-on training and demonstrations of sterile processing techniques and equipment.
  4. Assess student performance and provide feedback and support for improvement.
  5. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success and growth.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in sterile processing techniques and technologies.
  7. Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to continuously improve the program and meet accreditation standards.

  10. Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and professional development opportunities as required.
  11. Adhere to all institute policies and procedures, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve teaching methods to enhance student learning and success.
  13. Represent the institute with professionalism and integrity at all times.
  14. Foster a positive relationship with local healthcare facilities to enhance student learning opportunities and potential employment opportunities.
  15. Maintain a safe and clean learning environment for students and adhere to all safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience Working As A Sterile Processing Technician In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Possess A Current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Certification From The International Association Of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (Iahcsmm).

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Healthcare Administration Or Education.

  • Previous Teaching Or Instructional Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably As An Instructor For Sterile Processing Technician Courses.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Teach And Engage Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
