Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Healthcare Administration Or Sterile Processing Technology. Additionally, Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Sterile Processing Technician In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Teaching Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have Experience Teaching In A Classroom Or Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Sterile Processing Technician Program. They Should Be Able To Effectively Deliver Course Content And Engage Students In The Learning Process.

  • Certification: Candidates Should Hold A Current Certification As A Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Through The International Association Of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (Iahcsmm) Or The Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt) Through The Certification Board For Sterile Processing And Distribution (Cbspd).

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Sterile Processing Best Practices And Industry Standards, As Well As Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations Such As Osha, Cdc, And Aami.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Instructor Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Order To Effectively Interact With Students, Faculty, And Staff. They Should Also Be Able To Provide Constructive Feedback And Foster A Positive Learning Environment.
