Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field: A Respiratory Therapy Instructor At Pima Medical Institute - Tucson Must Have A Strong Educational Background In Respiratory Therapy Or A Related Field To Effectively Teach And Mentor Students.
Active Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) Or Certified Respiratory Therapist (Crt) License: In Addition To Educational Qualifications, A Respiratory Therapy Instructor Should Also Hold A Current Rrt Or Crt License To Demonstrate Their Expertise And Credibility In The Field.
Previous Teaching Or Training Experience: Prior Experience As A Respiratory Therapy Instructor, Clinical Instructor, Or Preceptor Is Highly Desirable For This Role. This Shows The Candidate's Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Concepts And Facilitate The Learning Experience For Students.
Strong Clinical Experience: A Respiratory Therapy Instructor Must Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Respiratory Therapist. This Ensures That They Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Industry Practices And Can Provide Real-World Examples To Students.
