  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of the Respiratory Therapy program, including curriculum development, student admissions, and faculty hiring and training.
  2. Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
  3. Develop and maintain partnerships with local healthcare facilities to provide students with hands-on clinical experience.
  4. Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulations related to the Respiratory Therapy program.
  5. Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback and support to help them succeed.
  6. Continuously evaluate and improve the program to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and faculty to integrate respiratory therapy concepts into other healthcare programs.
  8. Act as a role model and mentor for faculty, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of respiratory therapy and incorporate them into the program curriculum.
  10. Represent the Respiratory Therapy program at conferences, events, and other professional development opportunities.
  11. Foster a positive and inclusive culture within the program, promoting diversity and cultural competency.
  12. Ensure the program maintains a high level of student satisfaction and retention by addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  13. Maintain accurate records and reports related to the program, including student performance, faculty evaluations, and budget management.
  14. Serve as a liaison between the program and external organizations, advocating for the program and its students.
  15. Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other institutional initiatives to support the overall mission and goals of the institution.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Therapist, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Active Licensure As A Respiratory Therapist In The State Of Arizona.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge And Understanding Of Current Respiratory Therapy Practices And Industry Standards.

  • Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Respiratory Therapy Professionals.
