  1. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the curriculum and learning objectives.
  2. Deliver engaging lectures and practical demonstrations to students on various medical assistant procedures and techniques.
  3. Provide individualized instruction and support to students as needed.
  4. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes critical thinking.
  5. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to help students improve.
  6. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning.
  7. Stay current with industry advancements and update course materials accordingly.
  8. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure consistency and quality in program delivery.
  9. Communicate regularly with students, staff, and administration regarding course updates, student progress, and any concerns.
  10. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events as required.
  11. Maintain accurate attendance and grade records for students.
  12. Serve as a mentor and role model for students, promoting professionalism and ethical behavior in the healthcare field.
  13. Collaborate with career services to assist students in securing externship and job placement opportunities.
  14. Adhere to school policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve teaching methods and curriculum to ensure the program meets industry standards and prepares students for success in their careers.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Medical Knowledge And Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Medical Assistant Instructor At Pima Medical Institute - Tucson Should Have A Strong Background In Healthcare And Medical Terminology, As Well As Experience Working As A Medical Assistant In A Clinical Setting.

  • Teaching Experience: To Effectively Instruct And Guide Students, The Medical Assistant Instructor Should Have Prior Experience In Teaching Or Training In A Formal Educational Setting. This May Include Experience As A Teacher, Trainer, Or Mentor In A Healthcare Or Academic Environment.
