- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of wound care procedures and patient progress.
- Collaborate with the wound care team and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Relevant Education And Certification: A Wound Care Technician At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, As Well As A Certification In Wound Care, Such As The Wound Care Certification (Wcc) From The National Alliance Of Wound Care And Ostomy (Nawco).
Experience In Wound Care: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Wound Care. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Wound Assessment, Dressing Changes, And Wound Care Protocols.
Understanding Of Wound Care Procedures: Wound Care Technicians At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Wound Care Procedures And Techniques, Including Debridement, Wound Irrigation, And Wound Dressing Selection.
Knowledge Of Wound Care Products: Candidates Should Be Familiar With Different Types Of Wound Care Products, Such As Dressings, Wound Vacuums, And Topical Ointments. They Should Also Have Experience With Wound Care Equipment, Such As Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Machines.
Attention To Detail And Critical Thinking Skills: Wound Care Can Be A Complex And Delicate Process, So Candidates Should Have Strong Attention To Detail And Critical Thinking Skills To Properly Assess And Treat Wounds.
