
Wound Care Clinician PRN

- Provide exceptional wound care services to patients according to established protocols and procedures.
- Assess, document, and report patient wounds and progress to the healthcare team.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wound treatments and make necessary adjustments as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols while performing wound care procedures.
- Stay current with advancements and best practices in wound care through continuing education and professional development.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude towards patients, colleagues, and the healthcare team.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall improvement of patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work on a PRN (as needed) basis, including weekends and holidays.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Valid Rn License In The State Of Georgia
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Wound Care Experience
Certification In Wound Care (E.g. Wound Care Certified, Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse)
Proficient In Wound Assessment And Treatment Techniques
