- Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound exams on patients with peripheral vascular issues.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze ultrasound results.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of ultrasound images and maintain proper documentation.
- Educate patients on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess for any potential complications during the exam.
- Assist in the preparation and scheduling of procedures, ensuring efficient patient flow.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in vascular ultrasound technology and techniques.

Minimum Education And Certification: A Vascular Technician At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have A Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution. They Should Also Be Certified As A Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Or Registered Vascular Specialist (Rvs).
Experience In Peripheral Vascular Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Performing Peripheral Vascular Procedures, Such As Venous Insufficiency Studies, Arterial Duplex Scans, And Carotid Artery Evaluations.
Knowledge Of Vascular Equipment And Technology: A Vascular Technician At Piedmont Healthcare Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Latest Equipment And Technology Used In Peripheral Vascular Procedures, Such As Ultrasound Machines, Doppler Flow Studies, And Pulse Volume Recordings.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Vascular Technician, The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Crucial. The Candidate Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
Attention To Detail And Critical Thinking: Peripheral Vascular Procedures Require A High Level Of Precision And Accuracy.
