We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Vascular Technician to join our team and assist in our Cardiac Imaging department. As a Vascular Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating vascular diseases, utilizing advanced imaging technology and techniques.   1. Conduct diagnostic vascular testing procedures on patients, including ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and vascular imaging.
  2. Perform vascular treatments, such as venous ablations and sclerotherapy, under the guidance of a physician.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed and patient information.
  4. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  6. Stay up-to-date on advancements in vascular imaging technology and techniques in order to provide the best possible care for patients.
  7. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  9. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their vascular conditions and treatments.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  13. Collaborate with the administrative team to schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
  14. Attend continuing education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Education And Training: A Bachelor's Degree In Vascular Technology Or Related Field, And Completion Of An Accredited Vascular Ultrasound Program.

  • Certification: Must Be A Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Or Have A Registered Vascular Specialist (Rvs) Certification Through The Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci).

  • Relevant Experience: Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Vascular Technician, With A Strong Focus On Cardiac Imaging. Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge And Skills: Thorough Knowledge Of Vascular Anatomy, Including The Ability To Perform And Interpret Vascular Studies Such As Carotid, Venous, And Arterial Exams. Proficiency In Using Ultrasound Equipment And Software, Along With Strong Technical Skills To Produce High-Quality Images.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Ability To Provide Compassionate Care And Maintain Patient Privacy And Confidentiality.
