- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and pathology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or issues.

Certified In Diagnostic Medical Sonography: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Current Certification In Diagnostic Medical Sonography From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Ultrasounds Accurately And Safely.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience: A Prn Ultrasound Technologist At Piedmont Healthcare Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting. This Ensures They Have A Strong Foundation And Understanding Of Ultrasound Procedures And Equipment.
Proficient In Multiple Ultrasound Modalities: The Candidate Should Have Experience And Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Ultrasound Exams, Including Abdominal, Obstetrical, Vascular, And Musculoskeletal. This Ensures They Can Handle A Diverse Range Of Patients And Procedures.
Familiarity With Pacs And Emr Systems: Piedmont Healthcare Uses Electronic Medical Records (Emr) And Picture Archiving And Communication Systems (Pacs) To Store And Manage Patient Data.
