1. Perform ultrasound scans on patients as requested by physicians or other healthcare providers.
2. Follow proper protocols and techniques to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
3. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition and reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
4. Prepare patients for scans by explaining the procedure, answering any questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
5. Position patients correctly and use appropriate techniques to obtain the best possible images.
6. Monitor patients during scans and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the healthcare team.
7. Review and analyze images to ensure they are of sufficient quality for diagnostic purposes.
8. Document all procedures accurately and enter data into electronic medical records.
9. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
10. Continuously educate and train oneself on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
