- Perform ultrasound imaging procedures on expectant mothers, including abdominal, obstetric, and gynecologic ultrasounds, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Collaborate with midwives and other healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure appropriate care.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues and reporting malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
- Document procedures and patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Provide patient education and support, answering any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current on industry developments and advancements.

Completion Of An Accredited Ultrasound Technology Program: A Qualified Ultrasound Tech At Piedmont Healthcare Must Have Completed A Recognized Program In Ultrasound Technology, Such As A Certificate Or Associate's Degree Program.
Ardms Certification: The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Is The Leading Professional Association For Ultrasound Technologists. Certification From Ardms Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Standards For Competency In Ultrasound Technology.
Experience In Obstetrics And Gynecology: As A Midwifery Clinic, Piedmont Healthcare Requires Its Ultrasound Tech To Have Experience In Performing Ultrasounds For Obstetric And Gynecological Patients. This Includes Knowledge Of Fetal Development, Anatomy, And Common Abnormalities.
