  1. Manage third party accounts receivable processes for Piedmont Healthcare, including billing, collections, and customer service.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and third party payers, ensuring inquiries and concerns are addressed promptly and accurately.
  3. Utilize strong attention to detail to review and analyze accounts receivable data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all third party accounts receivable transactions.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and changes, ensuring compliance in all accounts receivable processes.
  7. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounts receivable procedures.
  8. Work closely with insurance companies and other third party payers to resolve billing and payment issues.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve payment-related inquiries and concerns.
  10. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Piedmont Healthcare's mission and values, and uphold them in all interactions with patients, team members, and external stakeholders.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, and maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.
  13. Participate in training and development opportunities to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
  14. Meet performance metrics and targets set by Piedmont Healthcare, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  15. Uphold a positive and collaborative attitude, contributing to a supportive and cohesive team environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Billing And Reimbursement Processes: A Third Party A/R Representative At Piedmont Healthcare Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Billing And Reimbursement Processes, Including Insurance Verification, Claims Submission, And Appeal Procedures.

  • Experience In Medical Billing And Collections: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In Medical Billing And Collections, With A Proven Track Record Of Success In Reducing Accounts Receivable And Increasing Cash Flow.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Third Party A/R Representative, You Will Be Interacting With Patients, Insurance Companies, And Internal Departments On A Daily Basis. The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Build Positive Relationships Is Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Detail-Oriented And Organized: The Role Of A Third Party A/R Representative Requires Meticulous Attention To Detail And The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks Simultaneously. Candidates Should Be Highly Organized And Able To Prioritize Their Workload Effectively.

  • Familiarity With Medical Billing Software And Systems: Knowledge Of Medical Billing Software, Such As Epic, And Proficiency In Microsoft Excel Is Preferred For This Role. Candidates Should Also Be Comfortable Learning New Systems And Processes As Needed.
