
Surgical Transplant- Nurse Practitioner

- Provide compassionate care: The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients undergoing transplant surgeries, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the surgical transplant team: The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the surgical transplant team, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Perform surgical and critical care procedures: The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for performing surgical and critical care procedures, such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care.
- Educate patients and families: The Nurse Practitioner will educate patients and their families about the transplant process, potential risks and complications, and post-operative care to ensure a successful recovery.
- Advocate for patients: The Nurse Practitioner will act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed, and their rights are protected throughout the transplant process.

Advanced Degree: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nursing, With A Specialization In Transplant Surgery, Is Required For This Position.
Certification: Candidates Must Be Licensed As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Georgia And Hold Certification As An Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Ag-Acnp) Or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Acnp).
Transplant Experience: A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience In A Surgical Transplant Setting Is Required, With A Preference For Experience In Kidney, Liver, And Pancreas Transplants.
Strong Clinical Skills: Candidates Must Possess Strong Clinical Skills, Including The Ability To Assess, Diagnose, And Treat Patients With Complex Medical Conditions Related To Transplantation.
Team Player: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.
