1. Perform various surgical tasks such as preparing and sterilizing equipment, assisting with surgical procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment.
2. Collaborate with surgeons and other members of the surgical team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of procedures.
3. Monitor patient vital signs and assist with patient positioning and draping.
4. Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, including dressing changes and wound care.
5. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures and patient care.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
7. Keep up-to-date with new techniques and equipment and implement them in the surgical setting as appropriate.
