  1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department and ensure efficient and effective delivery of medication to patients.
  2. Manage and supervise a team of pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  3. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure an adequate supply of medications.
  5. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services with patient care processes.
  7. Provide guidance and support to pharmacy staff, including troubleshooting and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  8. Conduct regular audits of pharmacy operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all pharmacy activities.
  10. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in pharmacy practices and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  12. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the overall patient experience.
  15. Attend departmental meetings and participate in relevant training and development activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Georgia

  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Pharmacy Setting

  • Previous Supervisory Or Management Experience In A Healthcare Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Regulations, And Best Practices
