Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Georgia: As A Staff Rn, Or Circulator Outpatient Surgery, It Is Essential To Have A Valid And Active Rn License In The State In Which You Will Be Practicing. This Ensures That You Have Met The Necessary Education And Training Requirements, And Are Legally Allowed To Provide Patient Care.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Perioperative Nursing: Outpatient Surgery Settings Require A High Level Of Efficiency And The Ability To Work Autonomously. Having At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Perioperative Nursing Will Demonstrate Your Proficiency In This Field And Ability To Handle The Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Are Essential Certifications For Any Healthcare Professional, Especially In The Surgical Setting. These Certifications Ensure That You Are Trained To Respond To Emergencies And Provide Life-Saving Interventions If Needed.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment: As An Or Circulator, You Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That All Necessary Equipment And Supplies Are Available For Each Surgical Procedure. Having A Strong Understanding Of Surgical Procedures And Equipment Will Enable You To Anticipate The Needs Of The Surgical Team And Ensure A Smooth Operation.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: In The Surgical Setting, Effective Communication And Teamwork Are Crucial For Ensuring Patient Safety And Successful Outcomes.
