
Staff Registered Nurse - Pre-Op

- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Pre-Op department.
- Adhere to all nursing standards, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient's physical and emotional well-being before surgery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families about the surgical process and post-operative care.
- Prepare patients for surgery by assisting with pre-operative procedures and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Advocate for patient needs and serve as a patient advocate.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, in-services, and training sessions to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Demonstrate sensitivity, compassion, and cultural competence in patient interactions.
- Support the organization's mission and values and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Georgia.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Pre-Operative Setting.
Bls And Acls Certification From The American Heart Association.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced Environment.
