As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing and administration for our patients.   1. Dispense and administer medications to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  2. Verify and review prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
  3. Monitor and maintain patient medication profiles to identify potential drug interactions and contraindications.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.
  5. Provide patient counseling and education on medication usage, side effects, and potential drug interactions.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized records of medications dispensed and patient consultations.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance medication safety and patient outcomes.
  8. Stay up-to-date on current pharmaceutical trends and advancements in drug therapy.
  9. Comply with all state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and controlled substances.
  10. Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff.
  11. Respond to medication-related inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns from patients or healthcare providers.
  12. Adhere to all policies and procedures related to medication storage, handling, and disposal.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance patient satisfaction and quality of care.
  15. Act as a patient advocate and advocate for safe and effective medication use.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Pharmd Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy School

  • Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Georgia

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist In A Healthcare Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals And Drug Interactions

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Counseling Skills.
