  1. Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to patients in accordance with physician orders and legal requirements.
  2. Maintain a thorough understanding of medications, including their uses, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  4. Monitor medication therapy and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  5. Educate patients and caregivers on proper medication usage, storage, and potential side effects.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized records of all medications dispensed and patient profiles.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the safe handling and storage of medications.
  8. Keep up-to-date with new developments and advancements in the field of pharmacy to provide the best possible care to patients.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  11. Address any medication-related concerns or questions from patients or healthcare providers.
  12. Work closely with insurance companies to ensure timely and accurate processing of medication claims.
  13. Perform inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies.
  14. Train and mentor pharmacy technicians and other staff members.
  15. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times when interacting with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharm.d.) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active And Unrestricted Pharmacist License In The State Of Georgia.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmaceuticals, Drug Interactions, And Medication Management Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Patient Education.
