1. Supervise and lead a team of environmental services staff, ensuring high levels of performance and productivity.
2. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of all facilities within the healthcare organization.
3. Train and develop team members on proper cleaning procedures and techniques.
4. Create and maintain schedules for environmental services staff to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
5. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols.
6. Communicate effectively with other departments and management to address any facility maintenance or cleaning needs.
7. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supply levels for cleaning materials and equipment.
8. Keep accurate records of cleaning schedules, procedures, and any incidents or complaints.
9. Motivate and encourage team members to maintain a positive and professional attitude while on the job.
10. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in environmental services to continuously improve processes and procedures.
11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and confidentiality guidelines.
12. Participate in hiring and training of new environmental services staff as needed.
13. Handle any escalated issues or conflicts within the team in a timely and professional manner.
14. Continuously evaluate and improve environmental services processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
