  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment in healthcare facilities.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
  3. Ensure all electrical work adheres to local and national codes and safety standards.
  4. Collaborate with other team members and departments to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
  5. Monitor and maintain inventory of electrical supplies and equipment.
  6. Train and mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols.
  7. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and address them in a timely manner.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.
  9. Communicate with facility management and other stakeholders regarding any electrical maintenance or repair needs.
  10. Maintain accurate records of all work performed and report any significant findings or concerns to the appropriate parties.
  11. Adhere to Piedmont Healthcare's policies and procedures, including those relating to safety, infection control, and confidentiality.
  12. Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
  13. Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergency repairs.
  14. Continuously strive to improve processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Assist with electrical installations and upgrades as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As An Electrician, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Electrical Systems, Codes, And Safety Procedures.

  • Proficiency In Reading And Interpreting Blueprints, Diagrams, And Technical Manuals.

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Diagnose And Repair Complex Electrical Issues.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team, As Well As Independently.
