  1. Facilitate the onboarding process for newly graduated registered nurses into the RN Residency Program.
  2. Provide specialized training and support to new nurses as they transition into their nursing careers.
  3. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for new nurses to thrive and grow.
  4. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the RN Residency Program.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the Piedmont Healthcare team to ensure the delivery of top-notch patient care.
  6. Serve as a mentor and resource for new nurses, offering guidance and support throughout the program.
  7. Conduct regular check-ins and evaluations to monitor the progress and development of new nurses.
  8. Develop and implement curriculum and educational materials for the RN Residency Program.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in nursing to continuously improve the program.
  10. Promote a positive and professional image of Piedmont Healthcare to potential candidates for the RN Residency Program.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: Candidates Must Possess An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Georgia To Be Considered For The Rn Residency Program At Piedmont Healthcare.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Applicants Should Have A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Degree Must Be Completed By The Start Of The Residency Program In Fall 2025.

  • Graduation From An Accredited Nursing Program: Candidates Must Have Graduated From An Accredited Nursing Program, With A Minimum Gpa Of 3.0. Preference Will Be Given To Candidates With A Higher Gpa.

  • Bls Certification: All Applicants Must Have A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association. This Certification Must Be Valid Through The Entire Duration Of The Residency Program.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Rn Residency Program At Piedmont Healthcare Requires Candidates To Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. This Includes The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team, Communicate With Patients And Their Families, And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
