- Develop and implement the RN Residency program curriculum for Fall 2025, ensuring its alignment with the organization's mission, values, and goals.
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment for new graduate nurses, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their roles.
- Design and facilitate orientation and training sessions to familiarize new nurses with the organization's policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and other healthcare professionals to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care.
- Act as a mentor and coach to new graduate nurses, offering guidance and support as they transition into their roles.
- Monitor the progress and performance of new nurses through regular check-ins and evaluations, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth.
- Serve as a liaison between new nurses and other departments, promoting effective communication and teamwork.
- Stay up-to-date with current healthcare trends and advancements in nursing practice, and incorporate them into the RN Residency program.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, ensuring the program meets all necessary requirements.
- Represent Piedmont Healthcare and its values, promoting a positive and professional image of the organization.
Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Georgia.
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Excellent Communication, Critical Thinking, And Time Management Skills.
Completion Of An Accredited Rn Residency Program Or At Least Six Months Of Acute Care Nursing Experience.
