
RN - Labor & Delivery, Part Time, Nights

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery team on a part-time basis, working nights. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process. - Provide compassionate and high-quality care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
- Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with current labor and delivery practices and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.
- Advocate for patients' rights and needs.
- Serve as a patient advocate and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.

Active Rn License In The State Of Employment: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Possess An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Employment, Demonstrating Their Ability To Practice Nursing Within The Scope Of Their License.
Experience In Labor And Delivery Nursing: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have Previous Experience Working In A Labor And Delivery Unit, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Skills In Providing Care To Both Mothers And Babies During The Childbirth Process.
Bls And Nrp Certifications: The Candidate Must Possess Current Bls (Basic Life Support) And Nrp (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certifications, Which Are Required For All Healthcare Professionals Working In A Labor And Delivery Setting.
Availability To Work Part-Time, Nights: This Position Requires The Candidate To Work Part-Time Hours And Night Shifts, Including Weekends And Holidays. The Ideal Candidate Must Have The Availability To Fulfill These Scheduling Requirements.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: As A Labor And Delivery Rn, Effective Communication And Critical Thinking Skills Are Crucial For Providing Safe And Efficient Care To Patients. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess These Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
