RN - Labor & Delivery, Part Time, Nights

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor & Delivery team on a part-time basis, working nights. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process. 1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process.
2. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
3. Monitor and assess patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Educate patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care.
6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
7. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
8. Keep up-to-date with current labor and delivery practices and procedures.
9. Maintain a safe and clean working environment for patients and staff.
10. Advocate for patients' rights and needs.
11. Serve as a patient advocate and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
13. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
14. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills.
15. Maintain a professional and positive attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
16. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
17. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
18. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
19. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure efficient patient care.
20. Act as a role model for other healthcare team members by displaying a strong work ethic and commitment to patient care.
