RN - Cardiac ICU

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As an RN in our Cardiac ICU, you will play a crucial role in caring for critically ill patients with cardiac conditions. 1. Provide compassionate and exceptional care to critically ill patients with cardiac conditions in the Cardiac ICU.
2. Administer prescribed medications and treatments to patients, monitor their vital signs, and assess their overall well-being.
3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
4. Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and responses to treatments.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality and coordinated care.
6. Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
8. Continuously update and maintain knowledge and skills related to cardiac care and ICU nursing.
9. Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to assess complex patient situations and provide appropriate interventions.
10. Act as an advocate for patients and families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
12. Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding their cardiac conditions and treatments.
13. Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced staff members.
14. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions.
15. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other educational opportunities.
