- Lead a team of healthcare professionals: Oversee and guide a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to patients in their homes.
- Ensure highest level of care: Monitor and evaluate the care provided by the team to ensure it meets the high standards of Piedmont Healthcare and is in line with industry best practices.
- Manage team performance: Provide leadership and support to team members, conduct performance evaluations, and address any performance issues to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
- Foster a positive work environment: Create a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and open communication amongst team members.
- Monitor patient outcomes: Regularly review patient outcomes and collaborate with the team to improve care plans and interventions as needed to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare standards.
- Develop and implement processes: Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance efficiency and quality of care delivery.
- Provide clinical expertise: Utilize your clinical knowledge and experience to provide guidance and support to the team, as well as to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with other departments within Piedmont Healthcare to coordinate care and ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the home health industry to ensure Piedmont Healthcare remains at the forefront of providing exceptional care.
Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Georgia: A Qualified Candidate For The Registered Nurse Manager - Home Health Position At Piedmont Healthcare Must Possess An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Georgia.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Experience In Home Health: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3 Years Of Hands-On Experience In Home Health Care, With A Solid Understanding Of Best Practices And Industry Regulations.
Proven Leadership Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Supervise A Team Of Nurses And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree: While Not Mandatory, A Bsn Degree Is Preferred For This Role As It Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Education And Commitment To The Nursing Profession.
Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: The Registered Nurse Manager - Home Health Must Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Teams. They Should Also Be Highly Organized To Manage Schedules, Budgets, And Other Administrative Duties.
